Thank you for choosing Recreaid. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at recreaid.com (the "Site") and the web design services we provide. By accessing our Site or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Site or services.

1. Services

Recreaid provides professional web design and development services, including but not limited to:

  • Custom website design and development

  • Content creation and copywriting

  • Brand integration and visual identity

  • Responsive web development

  • Photography and visual content services

Specific project scope, deliverables, timeline, and fees will be outlined in a separate Project Proposal or Contract for each engagement.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By using our website or requesting our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time, and changes will be effective upon posting to this page.

3. Project Proposals & Contracts

All web design projects require a signed Project Proposal or Contract that outlines:

  • Scope of work and deliverables

  • Timeline and milestones

  • Payment terms and fees

  • Revision policy

  • Intellectual property rights

The Project Proposal/Contract, together with these Terms, constitutes the complete agreement between you and Recreaid.

4. Payment Terms

Deposits: 

A non-refundable deposit (typically 30% of the total project fee) is required before work begins.

 

Final Payment: 

The remaining balance is due upon project completion and before final files are delivered, and transfer of intellectual property and copyright can be transferred to you.

 

Late Payments: 

Invoices not paid within 14 days of the due date may incur a late fee of 5% per month or the maximum allowed by law.

 

Payment Methods: 

We accept bank transfer, PayPal, or other methods as agreed upon.

5. Refund & Cancellation Policy

5.1 Service-Based Business

Recreaid provides custom web design and development services, not physical products. Our services are personalised and delivered digitally based on agreed upon project scopes.

5.2 Non-Refundable Deposit

All projects require an initial deposit (typically 30% of the total project fee) to secure your project slot and begin work. This deposit is non-refundable once work has commenced, as it covers:

  • Project planning and research

  • Initial design concepts and wireframes

  • Time allocated to your project

5.3 Refund Eligibility

You may be eligible for a refund in the following circumstances:

Before Work Begins:


If you cancel your project before any work has started and before the agreed project start date, you may receive a full refund of your deposit minus any administrative fees (up to 10%).

Non-Delivery of Services:
If we fail to deliver the agreed-upon services as outlined in the Project Proposal/Contract without a valid reason, and fail to offer to fix the situation, you may be entitled to a refund of payments made for undelivered work.

Mutual Agreement:
If both parties agree in writing to terminate the project, refunds will be calculated based on work completed to date.

5.4 Non-Refundable Circumstances

You are NOT eligible for a refund in the following cases:

  • You change your mind after work has begun

  • You are unsatisfied with the design concepts that were delivered as agreed (revisions as per contract terms apply instead)

  • Delays caused by your failure to provide timely content, feedback, or approvals

  • Issues with third-party services or platforms (e.g., hosting, domain registration, Wix features)

  • Work has been completed and delivered as per the agreed scope

  • You have not responded to our communications for more than 14 days

5.5 Refund Calculation for Partial Work

If a project is cancelled mid-way by mutual agreement or due to non-delivery on our part, refunds will be calculated as follows:

Total Paid - (Hourly Rate × Hours Worked) - Non-Refundable Expenses = Refund Amount

Hours worked will be documented and shared with you. Non-refundable expenses may include purchased stock images, premium plugins, domain registrations, or third-party services.

5.6 Refund Process & Timeline

How to Request a Refund:
1. Email us at office@recreaid.com with your refund request
2. Include your project details, invoice number, and reason for the request
3. We will review your request and generally respond within 7 business days

Refund Timeline:
If approved, refunds will be processed within 14 business days only via the original payment method (bank transfer, PayPal, etc.). Please note that your bank or payment provider may take additional time to process the refund.

5.7 Dispute Resolution

If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, we encourage you to contact us to discuss a resolution. We are committed to working with you in good faith. 

If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be handled in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Cyprus and the jurisdiction of the courts in Larnaca, Cyprus, as outlined in our Terms & Conditions.

5.8 Changes to This Policy

We reserve the right to update this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

5.9 Important Note

This policy applies to web design services only. If you purchase additional products (such as domain names, hosting, or stock images) through third parties, those purchases are subject to the refund policies of the respective providers.

6. Project Timeline & Delays

We will make every effort to meet agreed-upon deadlines. However, timelines are estimates and may be affected by:

  • Delays in receiving content, feedback, or approvals from the client

  • Scope changes or additional requests

  • Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Client delays of more than 30 days may result in project dormancy fees or termination.

7. Revisions & Change Requests

Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds as outlined in the Project Proposal. Additional revisions or scope changes beyond what was agreed upon will be billed separately at our hourly rate.

8. Client Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Provide timely content, materials, and feedback

  • Ensure all provided content (text, images, logos) is legally owned by you or properly licensed

  • Review and approve deliverables within the agreed timeframe

  • Maintain backups of your website after launch

9. Intellectual Property & Ownership

Your Content: You retain all rights to content you provide (text, images, branding materials).

 

Final Deliverables: Upon full payment, you will own the final website design, code, and copyright specific to your project.

 

Designer Tools & Templates: Recreaid retains ownership of any proprietary tools, code libraries, templates, or design systems used in creating your website. You receive a license to use these solely as part of your delivered website.

 

Portfolio Use: We reserve the right to display your project in our portfolio and marketing materials unless otherwise agreed in writing.

10. Third-Party Services & Integrations

Our websites may integrate third-party services (e.g., Wix, Google Analytics, social media widgets, payment processors). You are responsible for complying with the terms of service of any third-party platforms you choose to use. We are not liable for issues arising from third-party services.

11. Warranties & Support

Warranty Period: For the first 30 days after project delivery, we will fix any errors or deficiencies in our work at no additional cost (excluding issues caused by client modifications, hosting problems, or third-party services).

 

Ongoing Support: After the warranty period, support and maintenance services are available at our standard hourly rate or through a separate maintenance agreement.

 

Disclaimer: We provide our services "as is" and make no guarantees regarding specific results, search engine rankings, or website performance metrics.

12. Cancellation & Termination

By Client: You may cancel a project at any time by providing written notice. You will be responsible for payment for all work completed up to the cancellation date, plus any non-refundable expenses. Deposits are non-refundable.

 

By Recreaid: We reserve the right to terminate a project if:

  • Payment is not received as agreed

  • You fail to provide necessary materials or feedback for more than 30 days

  • You violate these Terms

13. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Recreaid shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from:

  • Use of our website or services

  • Errors or omissions in our work

  • Third-party services or integrations

  • Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities

Our total liability shall, if proven worng doing, at max. not exceed the total fees paid for the specific project in question.

14. Confidentiality

We will keep all client information and project details confidential, except:

  • As required by law

  • With your permission to showcase the work in our portfolio

  • Information that becomes publicly available through launching your website or atno fault of ours

15. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Cyprus. Any disputes shall be resolved through good faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Larnaca, Cyprus.

16. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our Site to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

  • Infringe on intellectual property rights

  • Distribute malware, spam, or harmful content

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

  • Harass, threaten, or defame others

17. Links to Other Websites

Our Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or terms of service of external sites.

18. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or technical failures.

19. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any Project Proposal or Contract, constitute the entire agreement between you and Recreaid and supersede all prior agreements or understandings.

20. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
